I am crazy for Kajals, eyeliners, mascaras, so while roaming around in a shopping mall came across this Volumizer mascara from Bourjois. It was definitely different from other mascaras which says that it works in two steps:

My Experience with Volumizer Mascara:
It comes in a fat tube with two lid openings for Step1 & Step2. A single brush operates for both steps. For step1 the top lid pulls brush from a narrow opening so it picks up less product while in step2 the lid pulls brush from a broader opening in the tube which helps it to pick more amount of product. Please refer to pics below for both steps:
And now as far as clump free guarantee is concerned well for step 1 I agree to that as it gives almost a very neat application and for step2 they never claimed clump free guarantee. I like giving volume and length to my eye lashes but initially when I started using this, was not satisfied with the step2 application as it clumped on my lashes like anything. I even tried removing excess of product on the tube opening but still clumping can be seen. I went back to the sales girl again and she taught me the trick to apply it…..she applied step2 on my eyes without much clumping and they definitely looked wow!!!!!. There was volume and length to my eye lashes without clumps.It definitely gave a prominent definition to my eyes. Ok ok now about the trick..well you need to run the 2nd step brush really fast on your eyelashes. You can also remove excess of product if you want but make sure you run brush quickly through your lashes.
Pros:
- Gives volume and length to your lashes.
- You can use it for giving light or prominent definition to your eyes.
- I liked the packaging.
- It doesn’t make your lashes feel heavy even after 2nd step application.
- Manage to hold curls for a longer time period.
- It’s water resistant so can be removed easily.
Cons:
- Not recommended for beginners.
- Clumping is a big issue with this unless n until you master the technique of applying it.(It clumps on my even today but has reduced a lot than before).
Final Verdict:
Although I liked the product but still not pretty much sure to buy again. You get other mascaras for half the price which also gives you good definition and effects to your lashes.
