Chocolate treatments  are known for their moisturizing & rejuvenating properties. They make dull skin moisturized, smooth and soft. Basically suited for dry skin. I tried this Shahnaz Hussain Chocolate facial kit which contains three products: Coffee Bean Scrub, Chocolate Rejuvenating Mask & Chocolate Nourishing Cream. But always remember that chocolate facials or chocolate therapies doesn’t remove tan, so it’s better to go for detanning before doing this facial if your skin is tanned. You can opt for mild bleach for detanning at home. I do this facial twice a month at home. It hardly takes 45 minutes max for me.

Packaging:

All the three products come in a chocolate brown plastic tube with brown colored flip flop caps. Same are available in tubs also with screw top lid. As in all other Shahnaz’s range these also contains her picture on the tubes. But I loved the packaging this time.

It’s more of a creamy scrub where coffee beads in it are not abrasive on my skin.They are mild and exfoliate gently on my skin

My take on this:

As mentioned before it’s mild gentle scrub which removes dead skin cells without harming my skin. The fragrance is amazing and very relaxing. It exfoliates, hydrates and moisturizes my skin giving it a radiant look. Skin feels relaxed & soothing. I massage it on my skin for about 10-15 minutes.It contains caffeine that sheds off excess fat. It doesn’t dry out my skin at all.

This has thick  smooth creamy texture in chocolate brown color and looks like a melted chocolate. I jus love to wrap my entire face in this pack but finds it hard to resist myself from eating it. It got a tempting chocolaty fragrance which makes me feel as if I am in a confectionery shop.

My take on this:

The soothing fragrance of this mask takes out tiredness from me. It makes my skin smooth, supple and moisturized. My skin glows after using this and the effect lasts for  2 weeks or so. It is also meant for tightening skin, so your skin feels a bit tight when mask starts drying out. Gives you a feeling of Spa treatment, making you feel relaxed and revitalized. I generally prefer using this kit at night before hitting sac.

Shahnaz Hussain Chocolate Nourishing Cream:

And finally the chocolate nourishing cream which seals the moisture inside skin, hydrates skin, helps in cell renewal making skin look more young and glowing.

Soft creamy texture with typical chocolaty fragrance. But sometimes I feel it got a bubble gum fragrance(may be a chocolate overdose ).

My take on this:

Apply liberally on your face at night after chocolate rejuvenating mask and find smooth, supple & radiant skin in the morning. It seals in the moisture, making it more hydrated and supple. You can clearly see the difference in you skin. Regular use will make your skin radiant and young.Can be used alone as a massage cream for night.
