Biotique sunscreens are a bit heavy in texture which works great for my dry skin. I wanted to buy their Aloe Vera one with SPF 75 as I am going to Goa for a vacation but was out of stock. So bought this Carrot one with SPF40.

What it Claims?

A light non greasy sunscreen with Carrot Oil to protect the skin from the harmful effects of the sun, with extracts of Carrot Seed and Lodhra Bark. Also contains Quince Seed and Aloevera Gel.

My Experience with Biotique Bio Carrot Face & Body Sun Lotion:

Packaging: Comes in typical Biotique packaging , a transparent plastic bottle with green screw top cap.

Color & Texture: The product is white colored thick cream. This gets absorbed easily into my skin without any oily or greasy feeling. I have been using this since a week and it helps keep my skin moisturized also. Stays easily for 4-5 hours but I usually reply it after every 3 hours in case I am out in the sun whole day.

Fragrance: It has got nice mild fragrance which is not very overpowering.

Effectiveness: As claimed it is very light & non greasy on my skin. I use it on my face below my tinted moisturizer and it works fine. Doesn’t make my face heavy or greasy.

I would suggest oily skin people to test it before buying this. I have used it under foundation once. I skipped my moisturizer and applied this below which worked fine that too with extra sun protection.

Gives a slight coolness to skin which I like. I haven’t noticed any tanning on my face or arms after using this. For me this works as a sunscreen cum moisturizer. I usually don’t apply moisturizer with this .

Pros:

• Gets easily absorbed into skin without making it greasy.
• For me it acts as a moisturizer & Sunscreen both.
• Can be used under makeup. Doesn’t make face heavy.
• Mild fragrance.

For me no Cons against this one. I totally love this.

Final Verdict:

Very light on skin & can be used under makeup. It also keeps skin moisturized. If you have a dry skin pick this blindly. I am not sure for oily skin.
