My Experience with Lacto Calamine Aloe Moisturiser:

Packaging: Very dull packaging I must say. Comes in a plastic bottle with screw top cap which looks so boring…..

Color & Texture: It has got very light pale pink or rather say peachy in color with creamy texture. Consistency is runny and gets easily absorbed into skin.

Fragrance: Got a mild fragrance which gives you a hint of aloe vera which I like a lot.

Effectiveness: Well I won’t say that it solved my skin problems and is my HG. I have a very dry skin for which it just do nothing infact make it prone to more dryness because of presence of oil absorbing ingredients. I used it once at my friends place and liked the tint it gave. The shade of the tint matches with my skin tone and I love to wear it for my office daily. But one need to take care to use it in minimal otherwise will leave whitish cast on your face.

I stay away from this in winters as it makes my skin drier and it gives a very matte effect while I prefer dewey look. So basically I prefer this in summers due to sweat issues. I top it up on my sunscreen as it does not contain SPF only Zinc Oxide which gives protection from sun but surely not enough in extreme temperatures.

Pros:

• Decently priced.
• Gives a nice tint and coverage on face.

Cons:

• Doesn’t moisturize my skin enough.
• Gives a very matte effect which I don’t like.
• No SPF.
• If by mistake used a bit more leaves whitish cast on skin.
• Bottle needs to be shaked well before use and the lotion gets into cap which makes application messy and bottle is not leak proof so the moisturizer comes out.

Final Verdict:

This product is HG for many people but it did nothing much to my skin and added more dryness to it. I don’t know how helpful this is for dry skin people even the aloe vera version fails to provide enough moisturization for my skin. For me it did not work well at all.
