I have been using this Aloe Vera gel from Banjaras religiously since a year and now its high time that I should review this….

My Experience with Banjaras Aloe Vera Moisturising Gel:
Packaging: Comes in a transparent plastic tub with green colored screw top cap. Available in only 175gms pack which I find bulky to carry around.
Color & Texture: It’s a clear transparent gel which gets absorbed into the skin very easily without leaving any shiny layer.
Fragrance: The fragrance is definitely stronger than the original Aloe Vera one and I find it little bit overpowering. So basically not the purest form of Aloe Vera as it comes with additional vitamins and also some preservatives to give it 3 years of shell life. Sadly ingredients are not mentioned on the pack.
Effectiveness: There are two variants available with Banjaras Aloe Vera range: All Purpose Aloe Vera Gel & Moisturising Aloe Vera Gel. I have always used moisturizing one. Never found all purpose in stock so not sure of the difference between these two but according to their website, all purpose aloe vera one is for dandruff treatment & hair care purpose(but name doesn’t suggest that).
Now coming to moisturizing aloe vera gel I use it for both skin & hair and ompletel happy with the results. I don’t use any face cream during summers , just apply this gel on my face & I am done . Keeps my skin well moisturized for 3-4 hours easily. If going out I apply my regular tinted moisturizer above this. It definetely keeps my skin soft & supple with amazing cooling sensation which I love. It also keeps my under eyes area well hydrated & radiant, so I don’t use a separate night cream(in extreme cases I use my Ponds Age Miracle night cream above this especially after a long journey or trip my skin gets prone to more dryness.)
It is not much moisturizing for me during winters so I apply a good moisturizer above this even if staying at home. At nights I apply this on my toned skin and I am set to hit the sack to wake up with soft & moisturized skin. It makes my skin more radiant. This gel doesn’t do anything to improve your skin complexion but surely makes your skin look healthy & fresh all the time.
I use this gel on my hair once a week and my hair soft & manageable. I use it in different hair packs for soft & silky hair. Not sure of dandruff treatment as claimed by all purpose aloe vera gel( I don’t suffer from dandruff.).
All together an HG product for my skin & hair care.
Pros:
- Keeps skin well moisturized & hydrated.
- Helpful for taking care of under eyes area also.
- Keeps hair soft & silky.
- Gives a nice cooling sensation to skin.
- Imparts glow to skin making it look fresh all the time.
- Restores skin suppleness & elasticity.
- Decently priced.
Cons:
- Ingredients not mentioned on the pack.
- Bulky to carry around.
- Not enough moisturizing in winters for my dry skin.
Final Verdict:
My HG product for skin & hair care. All of us are aware of benefits of aloe vera in beauty purpose…so no need to mention that separately.

are u from hyderabad ? u know where is Banjara available in Mumbai ? I got the banjara fruit pack n oats when I went to Hyderabad last to last week..

Here in the Philippines, one can get this via local pharmacy. But there are quite many products. I still prefer the old ways though. Take out the extract via its leaves.
I find extracting process a bit complicated so try to buy this gel of a herbal brand here
I actually fell into a doubt about the brand and its products after my horrible experience with one of its products but I did like their rose multani mitti pack and the tea tree pack was fine!!! and, where is it available??? I have never found it in spencers and all!!!
Awwww thats bad , you might be allergic to some ingredients then. Yup mopst of the products fine for my skin too. You can check them in H&G outlets or can buy them from stylecraze. They have stocked up few products from the brand.
