I love using Fab India soaps. Last time when I visited Fab India saw this Seabuckthron soap but didn’t picked up coz I had no idea about Seabuckthron Oil. So after some googling found the following information and picked up this soap after that:
Sea Buckthorn oil has multiple benefits in the area of restorative and anti-aging skin care. Natural antioxidants and essential fatty acids help reverse damaging effects of sun radiation and minimize long term effects of sun exposure, like wrinkles, dryness, dark spotsreduce skin inflammation, promote natural skin restorative processes . The oil is well tolerated by any type of skin and provide long term anti-inflammatory, restorative and revitalizing action.
Made from legendary seabuckthorn berries found in higher altitudes of the Himalayas, this bathing bar contains nutrients, essential oils and vitamins that protect and nourish your skin.
Price:
Rs65/- for 125gm with a shell life of 2 years.
Ingredients:
Purified Water, Glycerine, Coconut Oil, Stearic Acid, Seabuckthorn Oil, Castor Oil.
My Experience with Fab India Seabuckthron Soap:
It’s a honey colored soap bar which surprisingly got a strong citrus fragrance which I find quiet refreshing. But the fragrance is not so loud once you start using the soap. It cleanses the skin well but not very moisturising as I expected after reading the benefits of Seabuckthron oil and thankfully it doesn’t dry out my skin more.It lathers less as compared to other soaps. I liked Fab Indias Honey Almond soap more than this.
I cannot skip my moisturizer after using this. All together didn’t had a good experience with this one and definitely its not the worth we pay for.
Pros:
- Got a refreshing citrus fragrance.
- Doesn’t dry out skin.
- Effective cleansing.
Cons:
- Not moisturizing looking at the benefits of seabuckthron oil.
- Just an average soap for which the cost I definitely more.
- Complete list of ingredients not mentioned on the pack.
Final Verdict:
I didn’t found the soap much effective as per its claims. Did nothing to my skin and was just like an ordinary soap which we buy for far less cost than this one. For me its not a good deal to pay 65Rs just for fragrance of the soap.
Overall Rating: 1.5/5

Thanks for the review
