My Experience with Essence XXXL Shine Lip Gloss in True Love:

Packaging: Comes in a transparent glass tube with a silver cap on which there’s a sticker which states shade no. & name. The silver cap contains applicator  which is very long & flat and makes easier to apply gloss.

Texture: The texture is smooth & creamy which is a bit on runny side but this doesn’t bleed once you apply  and gets settled well on lips. The gloss does contain shimmer particles which are very minute & subtle that are barely visible or felt. The formula is quiet moisturising & I never felt the need of a chapstick.

Fragrance: It has got a sweet fruity fragrance which is not overpowering.

Coverage: The gloss gives heavy opaque coverage to lips& is highly pigmented . It gives a very bright & intense color to lips without being overwhelming. This particular shade can be used alone or over a red lipstick. Or any other lipstick.

Staying Power: This is quiet long lasting and while fading it leaves a slight hint of color pigmentation on lips which make your lips appear light berry red. But if I snack in between it does fade much easily. But neverthless it survives for good 3-3.5 hours on my lips which I guess is commendable for a lip gloss.

Shade15 True Love: It is a beautiful berry red shade with cool undertones & minute shimmer and perfect for a daytime wear. The shade instantly brightens up the whole face & look. If you love some colour on your lips without sounding too loud check this one.

• Gives a good opaque coverage so highly recommended for pigmented lips.
• Richly pigmented.
• Sweet fruity fragrance.
• Good shine.
• Very moisturizing on lips.
• Long lasting if not snacked in between.

I have no complaints against this one.

Final Verdict:

I am very happy with this gloss so affordable & have some good colors in this range along with nice texture to compliment your skintone. Can be used alone or dressed up any lipstick.
