Swati Ayurveda comes under Khadi brand and includes a wide range of hair care, facial care, body care & health care products. I got hold of this brand during my vacation and purchased this scrub & a facepack. Facepack will be reviewed later, lets look into the fruit scrub first.
You can check their website here.
This nourishing herbal fruit face scrub gently removes dead skin and impurities to reveal a glowing complexion.
Price:
RS 225/- for 70gm with a shell life of 2 years.
Ingredients:
Dried Peaches, Dates & Apricot, Honey, Lime, Apricot Kernel Oil, Crushed Almond, Vitamin A &B, Water Parabens.
Usage Directions:
Moisten face & neck with rose water. Apply scrub gently using circular strokes. Leave scrub on for five minutes for best results, rinse clean.
My Experience with Swati Ayurveda Herbal Fruit Exfoliating Scrub:
Packaging: Most of its product comes in a small stainless steel container. The scrub was packed in a small polythene bag inside this container(maybe to prevent it from coming out).
Color & Texture: The scrub is off white in color with minute brown colored scrub particles in it. It has got a very creamy texture. The cream is not very thick and scrub spreads very easily on skin. The scrub particles not abrasive on my skin and gently exfoliate my skin making it fresh & clean. This is mostly a cream based scrub which oily people would like to stay away.
Fragrance: It has got a strong nutty fragrance which bothers my nose for sometime while using.
Effectiveness: I always use this scrub along with rose water as mentioned in its usage directions and trust me guys it works really well. I have tried using this without rose water twice or thrice but the results were not as good when used along with rose water.
It makes my skin super duper clean & radiant. My skin feels very smooth & moisturized. Rose water acts a good toning agent for my skin also hydrates it.
I was so tempted to buy looking at the wonderful ingredients list.Ofcourse water parabens doesn’t look good inbetween them. The swati ayurveda products are way costlier than Khadi products but I think they are much more effective and give good results as compared to Khadi.
Availability: Availability is a big issue with this brand. Maybe found in Khadi outlet. Their website also doesn’t have any online shopping option. But they have concerned person’s contact details.
Pros:
- Scrub no very abrasive on skin.
- Makes skin fresh & radiant.
- Contains natural ingredients.
- Doesn’t dry out skin.
Cons:
- Availability issues.
- Way expensive than Khadi.
- I didn’t like the strong nutty fragrance.
- Packaging container is not leak proof.
Final Verdict:
I like the results this scrub gives to my skin, very smooth, fresh & glowing. Doesn’t dry out skin. A herbal product. Except for water parabens & the fragrance I love this scrub.
Overall Rating: 3.8/5

Dhanu to be frank I have used very few of their products. I have their cleansing milk and toner which I find ok not that great to boast about. But I have heard great reviews on their facepack range. You can see my review here:
