Ingredients:

My Experience with Chambor Glitzy Blush 101: Glitzy Plum

Packaging: The packaging is very sleek & pretty , comes in a small silver colored compact case with a transparent see through lid. Contains an applicator brush which I am not comfortable to work with. It does not have a mirror and the blush is in the form of a hardened round mould.

Texture: The texture is very smooth and it blends like a dream. Looks very natural on cheeks.

Pigmentation: Being a mineral blush it is quiet pigmented. The blush is buildable and gives a sheer color in one swipe. Good for beginners as no chance of going overboard with this one.

Staying Power: I haven’t seen this one fading away on my skin till now. I have used it for around 5-6 times and it very well stays on my skin for about 7-8 hours. After that I remove my makeup but till that time there’s no fading. No touchups required for me. I apply this in morning and I am sorted for complete day.

Shade 101 Glitzy Plum: I asked SA to show me some warm shades and when she took out this one I said no without looking at the shade as it says Plum. But when she swatched it  looked more of a bronzy brown to me with pearl finish which gives a nice subtle glow & warmth to my face. I don’t know why the name Plum but this shade I find no where near to Plum.

It contains very fine glitter particles which gives that subtle glow and are so minute that you can hardly see them and doesn’t make you look OTT. Perfect for day as well as night wear. Will suit all Indian skin tones.

Pros:

  • Decent packaging.
  • Very smooth textures and applies evenly.
  • Blends very easily & good for beginners.
  • Highly pigmented & color is buildable.
  • Gives nice warmth to face.
  • Looks very natural on cheeks.
  • Amazing staying power.
  • Suitable for day as well as night wear.
  • Gives a nice subtle glow to skin.

Cons:

  • Pricey.

Final Verdict:

This blush is worth every penny I spent on it. Smooth & even texture, good pigmentation, buildable, the shade looks very natural on my skin..and the list goes on. This shade will suit most of the Indian skin tones and can be used as a bronzer too.I would highly recommend this blush..though pricey but it will go for a long way.

Overall Rating:4.8/5

  4. Hi Shrilata!
Thanks a tonn for the review..
Somehow I dint see that you had already reviewed this blush.. was planning to buy one..
Can you do a review of other shades also..I mean what r the shades that would suit people with warm skin tones..

    • Hi Nidhi,

these blushes are really nice but names are quite misleading. All are warm toned when I swatched them on the counter. Most are brown toned & would suit beautifully on Indian skintones
