Shahnaz Forever Henna Precious Herb Mix Review

I love coloring my hair and especially I like dark brownish shade that Henna gives to my hair. But most of the brands available in market didn’t work for me. I came across this Henna mix from Shahnaz Forever range while shopping at Kathiawar stores and have been hooked onto it ever since.

What it Claims?

Price:

Rs 160/- for 200gm with a shell life of 3 years.

Ingredients:

My Experience with Shahnaz Forever Henna Precious Herb Mix:

This comes in  different size of green sachets. Shahnaz forever range is a budget range unlike the Shahnaz Hussain. I have been using this henna mix since 2 years and very satisfied with the results.

I apply it in two ways:

Only for conditioning hair:

Mix desired quantity of henna mix with curd and apply directly to hair. Leave it for 45 mins and shampoo your hair as usual.

For Color:

Mix desired quantity of henna with curd and boiled tea water. Apply on hair and let it stay for 2-3 hours. Rinse off. I don’t shampoo. After drying my hair I oil them heavily and shampoo next day.

This pack makes my hair soft, shiny and healthy. I don’t suffer from any hairfall or dryness after using this. I love the dark brown shade it gives to my hair. The smell is not as strong as the regular henna. It’s a natural conditioner and I love to condition my hair with this atleast twice a month. Makes hair stronger and problem free.

Make sure not to use henna on colored hair. Wait atleast for 2-3 months before applying henna on your colored hair.

Pros:

  • Decently priced.
  • Easily available.
  • Fragrance not very strong as regular henna powder.
  • Makes hair soft, shiny & silky.
  • Helps to fight dandruff.
  • Herbal.
  • Give a nice color & sheen to hair.

Cons:

Nothing I can think of….

Final Verdict:

I would highly recommend this henna pack for healthy & problem free hair. Completely herbal. If the regular brands available in market doesn’t suit you give this a try….

Overall Rating:5/5

my hair are naturally quite black
and my mum has always adviced me not to use henna
but i can recommend this to her Smile

  2. I am using this for so many years and I just love it…I also use it in the same way as u have mentioned in the coloring part Blush

  3. Hi Shrilata, you’ve got a nice blog…. your reviews are honest and upfront, I really like that Smile

I’ve got a doubt…have never used Henna in my hair, coz I’m not too keen on reddish highlights or a color change (natural color’s black).
How can I use this to cover my random grays without changing the overall black color? Right now, I don’t have any visible gray hair but there are some teeny-tiny ones Frown

    • Hey Zahra, its nice to have you on my blog!& thanks for liking it Smile. If you have very very less grays which are not visible then I guess i won’t suggest you to apply anything right now & especially hwen you are not much fond of HEnna’s reddish tint. Or else you can always go for Garnier color naturals which i am using since years, I find it very good without any side effects on my hair. Applying heena will surely give you a red tint Frown
