Today I will be reviewing NYX Eyeshadow base in Skintone. Although I was using a concealer coated with baby powder all these days as a primer but when I saw this on urbantouch ,couldn’t stop myself from buying this by looking at the rave reviews in blogsphere.

What it Claims?

To get the maximum brilliant color of eyeshadow on your eye,  an eye primer is must! Apply eyeshadow base to eyelids, then apply NYX’s high-pigmented eyeshadows and see the colors pop with vibrant and sparkling luster. Eyeshadow Base grabs and firmly holds finely milled powder so color in the pot is what ends up on your eye – without a pinch lost.

Rs 625/- for 7gm. I got it for Rs500/- from urbantouch.

My Experience with NYX Eyeshadow base Skintone:

Skintone is light beige with yellow undertones which will suit most to Indian skin tones. Looks very natural on my lids and greatly intensify the eyeshadow color.

Comes in a cute small transparent pot with white colored screw top cap.  Creamy in texture, easily blendable and one requires very less  amount for single use. I intensify the colour superbly making them look more vibrant on your eyes makes them stay longer.

As I have very dry eyelids this stays on lids from morning to evening without creasing. But that won’t be the case with oily lids as it contains mineral oil as one its key ingredient.

Pros:

• Smooth & creamy texture which blends easily.
• Makes eyeshadow look more vibrant  and enhances the colour.
• Doesn’t fade or crease on my very dry lids.
• The skintone perfectly suits my wheatish skin.
• Decently priced on urbantouch.
• One needs very little amount for single use.
• Makes colour lasts longer on lids.

Cons:

• The tub packaging but I always use a q tip to take out the product so not a big issue for me.

Final Verdict:

I love this eyeshadow base, makes colour stay longer with good intensity and vibrancy. A good deal for 500 bucks and the product going to last for long.
