Rouge Bunny Rouge is a European brand launched in Russia in 2006. I personally like to visit their site as it makes me feel like I have entered in a fairy tale world. Today I will be reviewing their tinted moisturizer range which I received few weeks back.
This fluid Tinted Moisturiser gives your skin seamless, radiant glow and quietly underlines your natural beauty. The sublimely light texture refreshes with a high percentage of water and absorbs quickly, leaving an imperceptible film that veils small imperfections.
Loaded with botanicals and skin protective ingredients, our Tinted Moisturiser nourishes, hydrates and protects your skin against negative environmental factors like pollution and UVB rays. It includes Vitamin A and E which have anti-ageing and anti-oxidant properties; Malachite Extract is rich in copper and detoxifies the skin; it is also anti-oxidant. Smithsonite Extract provides natural UVB protection and is rich in Zinc, an essential mineral for the skin that aids healing. Laminaria Digitata Extract (Oarweed, a seaweed rich in calcium and potassium) fights fatigue, reinforcing the cells’ natural defences and is anti-bacterial. Hyaluronic Acid and PCA attract and bind moisture into the skin, preventing and treating dehydration.** Botanical Squalene (from olives) prevents water loss by helping repair the hydro-lipidic film whilst maintaining tone and elasticity and Prunus Extract (from the Cherry Tree) is rich in Isoflavones to naturally improve firmness.
Sail away to pure, radiant beauty with Sketches on the Water.
Their tinted moisturizer range is available in three shades:
Quercus: Transparent wash of warm tawny mid-beige
Sequoia: Transparent wash of pinkish beige
I mostly use Quercus as it goes with my skin tone well and hardly twice I used Sequoia which looks pretty ok on my skin if blended really really hard. Adansonia gives me a ghostly look and makes me feel like wearing a mask. It will go for fair skin tones well.
So far this is the best tinted moisturizer I have ever used. I was very happy with my Pond’s TM unless I started using this. This is very hydrating even more than Pond’s TM. It keeps my skin soft & supple without any dryness or patchiness . It gives a nice luminous glow to my skin without making me look OTT. This TM alone is what I need to set my makeup base which gives a nice luminous dewey look.
Spreads easily and evenly on skin and very easy to blend. Gets soaked up pretty fast. Gives a flawless dewey skin which I crave for. I wish RBR products were easily available in India. As this a high end brand definitely it won’t be easy on your pocket but it’s worth every single penny you spend on it.
This might not suit oily skin beauties as its very hydrating or maybe they need to set it with the help of a compact. This is available only in three shades which can make it difficult to choose the right shade for Indian skintones and we are more on wheatish to dusky side.
RBR products are available on zuneta.com & they ship worldwide.
My Likes for RBR Tinted Moisturizer:
- Gives a nice flawless luminous dewey look.
- Very hydrating on skin.
- Gives a nice medium coverage on my skin.
- Spreads easily and blends seamlessly.
- Doesn’t give flaky or patchy skin.
My Dislikes for RBR Tinted Moisturizer:
- Availability issues.
- Would love to see more shades as it would be quiet difficult to get a right shade for Indian skintones with the available range.
- May not suit oily skin females.
This is the best TM I have used so far. And fortunately I have a shade in this range which goes well with my skin tone. This TM is super hydrating & gives a glowy dewey look , a must have for dry skin females like me. Although not easy on pocket but I really won’t mind spending on this.
PS: Product sent by brand for consideration. But this has not affected my review.
