What the company claims, method of use and ingredients:
Net wt: 3 g
Shelf life: 3 years
The packaging is not at all attractive. It comes in a twist up plastic case or lipstick type packaging with a flimsy transparent cap. The cap is quite tight and can be carried around in a purse. It has a shiny silvery casing inside.
My take on Jovees Kajal:
The texture of the kajal is very smooth and creamy. It glides easily on my eyes. Although the color is not intense black but after 2-3 swipes it does give matte jet black finish. The staying power of the kajal is very poor. It stays on my waterline for upto 2-3 hours after which it starts fading away. It doesn’t irritate my eyes at all thus it is safe to use on sensitive eyes. I must say it is waterline safe.
It doesn’t smudge a lot on my eyes (doesn’t give raccoon eyes) though it starts fading away after few hours and need touch ups. I bought this kajal because of its herbal ingredients. Triphala and almond oil seems perfect to me. The company claims to facilitate the growth of lashes but I didn’t see any difference in my lashes. The sharpness of the kajal goes away after repeated uses but it doesn’t bother me as I use it for my waterline only. The kajal comes off easily without using makeup remover.
