Texture:

It is a liquid foundation. The consistency is just perfect neither very thick nor very runny. It is very smooth and spreads easily on my skin. It doesn’t feel heavy on skin. It doesn’t dry out quickly so you can take your time to work up with it. It imparts a nice glow to my skin.

Coverage:

It has medium to buildable coverage. It covers flaws without making it look unnatural. The texture is such that it never gets cakey. I never go for heavy coverage but you can build layers to get a heavier coverage without looking like a joker.

Staying power:

It stays on for a good 9-10 hours without making my skin greasy and patchy.

Packaging:

The packaging is simple yet elegant. It comes in a sturdy frosted glass bottle with a black cap. The cap has a spatula which helps in picking the right amount of product in a hygienic way.

My take on Faces Oil Free Foundation:

I really love the texture of Faces Oil Free foundation. It blends seamlessly with the skin. It is truly matte and gives a soft and natural finish to the skin. I use it in evening parties too by mixing it with Faces Metaliglow and it gives a nice dewy finish. It is lightweight so it feels like you have nothing on. It provides medium to buildable coverage and covers all imperfections effectively without giving a cakey and patchy look. I have few acne marks which it hides easily without any need of a concealer but it fails in covering acne effectively when they are in full form. The staying power is awesome. I usually use foundations in parties but I had once applied it at 8 am without primer and when I reached home at 6 pm my face was looking fresh without any touch ups . It does not transfer on my cell phones or collar. It doesn’t give white cast to my face. It suits all skin types. My skin becomes oily in summers and dry in winters but it suits me every time I use it. It doesn’t contain SPF so I always make sure to wear sunscreen underneath it. The best part is it is oil free and non comedogenic which is a boon for my oily acne prone skin.

Final verdict:

Faces oil free foundation has a lightweight, oil free and liquid formula that is easy to apply, provides medium to full coverage, evens out the skin tone perfectly and gives a natural glow and fresh look for a long time. I really love this foundation and would definitely recommend it to everyone especially for people with normal to oily skin.
