Price: 449INR (I got 50% discount over it Â
)
Net wt: 9gm
Shelf Life: 2 years
Packaging:
The packaging is very neat and travel friendly. It comes housed in a black cardboard packaging. The pressed powder comes in a round, matte finish black compact with a built in mirror inside the lid, which is fair sized and useful, and a puff applicator which is soft. The puff is great for on the go touch ups.
My take on Faces Minerals Pressed Powder:
I got the shade Ivory Beige for me which is close to my skin tone. Â The texture is not silky smooth i.e. not as smooth as that of Lakme Perfect Radiance Compact though it is not chalky at all. I need to swipe a couple of times to take the powder onto the puff. However it blends onto the skin very efficiently.
The pressed powder gives sheer to medium coverage. It is lightweight setting powder to set foundation or can be used over a primer too. I usually use it to set my foundation but it gives subtle coverage even if used alone on a moisturized skin (I have not applied this powder on bare skin i.e. without moisturizer so I am not sure if it would give powdery look or highlight dry patches). It evens out the skin tone and covers slight imperfections. But if you have dark spots or blemishes you need to use concealer before applying this. It gives a nice, smooth matte finish, non powdery look that still looks like a natural skin.
The staying power is amazing. It stays put on my oily skin the whole day without any need for touch ups. It doesn’t make my skin oily or dull even when being out in the sun.

Final verdict:
I have been using this pressed powder religiously for months and am quite satisfied with it. It gives a smooth, natural matte finish to my skin. It provides sheer to medium coverage but doesn’t cover major blemishes. Though I don’t like the texture but it blends well into my skin making it oily free and fresh. I would definitely recommend it to beauties with normal and oily skin.
