My Take on the Product:

Diana surprise lipsticks are semi matte in finish which gives a nice subtle glossy shine on lips, not too matte or shiny. The packaging is pretty ok with silver coloured twist up tube with blue coloured cap.The texture of the lipstick very soft & creamy with intense pigmentation. A single swipe gives a complete opaque coverage. Highly pigmented lips are going to enjoy this range. They glide like a dream on lips & are moisturizing as well till the time they start fading. Another plus point is that they contain sun filters.

In short this lipstick delivers everything claimed super soft, moisturizing & radiant on lips. The only single flaw is the staying power which is claimed up to 8 hours. But they stay for around 4-5 hours on my lips and then start fading evenly leaving behind a nice tint on lips. Also it gets transferred easily especially to cups.

Shade (28) Rose Petal:

Rose Petal is a gorgeous dark red shade with prominent brown undertones. For my like this shade is way too vibrant and I have to blot this everytime I apply. To mute it down more I usually top it with a nude lip gloss. This way it gives enough colour with fuller lips. The shade gives a bold lips look & goes very well with a understated or nude look. Will compliment all skintones.

The Good about Diana of London Surprise Lipstick in Rose Petal:

• Smooth & Creamy texture.

• Make lips look healthy, moisturized & radiant.
• Contains sunfilters.
• Rose Petal is a beautiful Dark Red shade with prominent brown undertones which can be wore vibrantly or sheerly as per choice. Will compliment all skintones.
• Fades evenly leaving behind dark noticeable tint.

The Not-so-Good about Diana of London Surprise Lipstick in Rose Petal:

• The range has got most of the dark & vibrant shades. Nude lovers like me have nil or very very limited choice.
• Unlike claimed for 8 hours it stays for 4-4.5 hours on my lips & then starts fading.
• Transferable.

Final Verdict:

Diana of London Surprise lipsticks are soft, creamy with amazing pigmentation. They are very comfortable on lips & keep them hydrated & radiant. They stay easily for 4-5 hours but are transferable. The only flip side for me is the shade range where there’s very limited access for nude lovers like me. If you are fond of dark & vibrant shades then this is the range to try for. Rose Petal is dark red shade with brown undertones which gives a vibrant & fuller lips. The shade compliments all skin tones.
