I picked this baby at recent TBS sale. I was looking for some soap exfoliators & SA suggested this soap to me as this is an exfoliating soap with ground walnut shell micro beads.

Price: 235 INR for 100gm (Got it at 15% discount)

My Take on the Product:

Full marks for the packaging with cranberry coloured outer carton & the some artistic mini cranberry’s kind of design on the soap. This smells yummy…so fruity! But a word of caution for sensitive skin as some of them can find this a bit harsh (you see its walnut granules) .My dry skin  find it pretty ok (not harsh) & in sweaty summers of Hyderabad I do require a good exfoliator to get rid of accumulated dirt & dead cells & this soap perfectly does that. This lathers pretty well & doesn’t take out the feeling of not using soap from you. I won’t say that this is moisturizing enough but tends to make my skin crave for moisture after use and at the same time immediately after a shower my skin feels squeaky clean & soft. It works best as a skin polisher.

The exfoliating beads are very minute & sensible enough not to harm your skin . The best part is that they don’t tend to get softer or shredded with regular soap usage as with most of the soaps but stays hard & intact till you finish the complete soap. They are not present only superficially but very well inside the complete product. Well that’s good news for me as I bought this one mainly for exfoliation purpose. It also helps to lighten tan but don’t remove it completely. All together I find this soap a good option for females who doesn’t have time to exfoliate their body skin separately & this serves as dual purpose of a soap & good exfoliator provided you skin can bear some rough granules.

The Good about TBS Cranberry Joy Soap:

• Attractive packaging.
• Yummy fruity fragrance.
• Serves a dual purpose of a soap & body exfoliator.
• Exfoliates nicely making skin smooth & giving it a polished look.
• The granules don’t shred or soften but remains intact till the whole product gets finished.

The Not-so-Good about TBS Cranberry Joy Soap:

• Might not suitable for sensitive skin.
• If not used carefully can cause harm to skin. Don’t rub it just blindly on skin as you do with any other soap.
• Pricey for sure (That’s how TBS products are!). But you can get it at good price during sale.
• Not moisturizing for my super dry skin.

Final Verdict:

TBS Cranberry Joy soap serves a dual purpose of soap cum exfoliator. It exfoliates efficiently making skin smooth & giving it a polished look. The texture of the granules is  not too hard & heavy, sensitive enough on body skin and they don’t get shred off or soften with regular usage. The soap might cause problems or may be  harsh for sensitive skin. Not moisturizing enough but makes skin squeaky clean. This is best for females who are tied up busy schedules & don’t have enough time for taking care of their skin.
