My Take on the Product:

The packaging is exactly same as Papaya Face Pack of this range with plastic tub & mustard yellow coloured screw top lid. It’s a pale brown coloured scrub with dark walnut exfoliating beads which I found a little more abrasive than the scrubs I use. I didn’t use this scrub in winters because of the abrasiveness but summers are the perfect time to use a bit strong scrub for my extra dry skin which keeps shedding millions of dead cells.

The fragrance is mild & fruity which I like. The consistency of the scrub is not too thick & is easy to work with. Spreads easily on face. In fact the face pack is a bit thicker compared to the scrub. The exfoliating beads are abrasive and this is not recommended for sensitive skin. As I face very hot & humid summers this scrub effectively scrubs out all the dead cells as well as superficial tan from my face.  Gives a squeaky clean skin but at the same time immediate moisturization is required. I didn’t see any fairness coming out but this does makes skin visibly clear. Looking at the texture I use it as a foot scrub too & works great. I would highly recommend this scrub to females who can bear some harsh exfoliators on their skin & especially good for dry skin as it sheds more dead cells than other skin types.

The Good about Vedic Line Papaya Scrub:

• The texture is easy to work with.
• Effectively scrubs skin of dead cells & impurities making it visibly clear & glowy.
• Removes superficial tan & regular usage will make skin tan free.
• Mild fruity fragrance.
• Economical.

The Not-so-Good about Vedic Line Papaya Scrub:

• Does not make skin fairer as claimed.
• Tub packaging. Would have preferred a tube one.
• The walnut exfoliating beads are very abrasive & won’t be suitable for sensitive skin. Other skin types should use this carefully.

Final Verdict:

Vedic Line Papaya scrub has got abrasive walnut exfoliators & is not recommended for sensitive skin. If used with care this scrub gives best of the scrubbing benefits by removing all dead cells & impurities from the skin making it clear & glowy. No fairness is seen as claimed. This does dry out my dry skin & immediate moisturization is advised. The texture of exfoliators is strong enough to scrub off dirt from foot skin also.
