The Bobbi Brown lip glosses comes a cute tiny transparent tube with glossy black cap. The tube is very tiny as compared to other brands . Very sleek & elegant.

The gloss has soft creamy consistency which is thicker compared to other glosses. Richly pigmented and gives a high colour pay off in single swipe. The gloss settles down as semi matte finish which doesn’t bleed or feather. The formula perfectly adheres to the skin. This easily stays for 4-5 hours on my lips with slight fading which is hardly noticeable (coz of the tint). Fades evenly with a beautiful tint on lips without making them devoid of colour. Try APPLY-BLOT-REAPPLY method to make it last really long.

The gloss is very light textured & non sticky. It is moisturizing enough for my dry lips & keeps them in comfort zone till the time it stays. I didn’t experience any distinct fragrance but if you dig your nose into the tube, you’ll get a very mild vanilla scent which hardly is felt during or after application. The only problem I face is the application part as the bristles are too small if compared to normal Doe Foot applicators which I am very much used to, makes it difficult for me apply this easily & evenly.

All together I would highly recommend these glosses to everyone. They definitely comes with a price tag for 4.2ml quantity but worth every penny spent on them.

Shade Scarlet:

I would describe Scarlet as’MY KIND OF RED’. A muted red with a perfect balance of cool & warm tones which calls for attention in a soft sophisticated way without going over the top.  The shade stands exactly in middle of cool & warm tones & not a single step leaning towards either of them. It is supressed without being too loud but vibrant enough to pull the attention.

While fading this leaves a beautiful pinkish tint on lips which keeps your lips looking fresh & retouched rather than giving them a faded colour look. The shade will compliment all skin tones & HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I would highly recommended Bobbi Brown lip glosses to every beauty fanatic. At least one of them is must have in your collection. They are super smooth & creamy giving a semi matte finish with great staying power. Moisturizing enough on lips. Scarlet is a muted red with perfect balance of warm & cool tones. The shade will compliment all skin tones.
