The Body Shop Foundation Brush is a flat brush with tapered rounded edges for flawless, precise & streak free application of liquid foundation. The handle is sturdy enough to give a good grip & controlled application. The bristles are dual shaded, densely packed & sturdy yet very soft on skin. As the bristles are very flat the brush is helpful for the application of liquid foundations only. Being flat & broad the bristles cover good amount of application area in a single go.

The brush certainly gives a flawless streak free application but the actual problem being the brush absorbs lot of product & gets cakey in 1-2 uses. The best way to use this is to dot foundation all over your face & then blend with this which helps in absorption of comparatively lesser product. I find myself washing it every alternate use otherwise the cakeyness of the brush results in streaking while application of the foundation. As the bristles are very dense it takes its own sweet time to get completely cleaned. I haven’t seen a single hair shedding from the brush & have been using this since a year.

If you don’t want to invest in expensive brushes like MAC, this brush is a good option provided you are ok to wash this regularly.

TBS Foundation Brush has flat densely packed bristles which are sturdy yet very soft on skin & gives a flawless streak free application. The price is very easy on pocket & is a good option for those who don’t want to invest in an expensive foundation brush. The brush does have its own limitations & can be used only for the application of liquid foundations. It absorbs lot of product during application & gets cakey after a single use, so regular washing hassle will be there.
