I got this lipstick as a free gift with my stawberrynet purchases about few months back. The packaging is quiet interesting as the outer tube being in the colour of the lipstick shade. So it becomes very very convenient to pick up any shade you want without any hassle.
The texture of the lipstick is smooth & creamy but the minute multi-coloured shimmer chunks makes it somewhat gritty. It doesn’t feel completely smooth & soft on lips ( Not very gritty but your lips does get a mild feeling of glitters).
It has got a fruity fragrance & tastes slightly sweeter which I absolutely hate but that’s a personal choice. The pigmentation is quiet rich & gives a medium to full coverage in a single swipe. The lipstick gives decent pigment coverage but heavily pigmented lips may have to build up the shade with 4-5 strokes to get the full coverage . It does not accentuate fine lines & dryness of the lips. I won’t say it is very moisturizing on my dry lips but doesn’t make them uncomfortable also. It is not something that I can’t wear without my chapstick but I have seen better moisturizing lipsticks than this one. They give a semi glossy finish with some glittery shine. This stays good for about 3.5 to 4 hours on my lips surviving light snacks but with heavier meals this will get vanished with a very slight tint & some glitter .
All together I am quiet liking the lipstick except for the fact that it feels a bit gritty on lips while almost at the same price Revlon Colorburst Lipsticks are far more creamier & glossier than these.
Shade Melon Sorbet:
Melon Sorbet is a gorgeous Peachy Coral shade with multi-coloured shimmer. The shimmer doesn’t look very apparent after the application but in tube you can clearly the shade with loaded glitter. The shade is a perfect spring/summery shade which brightens up the face instantly. This is the shade that needs a good blush & some eye makeup as companions otherwise if weared with a subtle look doesn’t justify its beauty. The shade will look good on fair to medium skin tones & will not show up on duskier tones.
While fading the distributed shimmer shows up a bit on the lips which can be wiped out very easily. I am not sure of purchasing these again for the fact that they taste sweet & leave glitter all over the lips while fading.
- Chic & user friendly packaging.
- Rich pigmentation.
- Good wear time.
- Reasonably priced.
- Nice fruity fragrance.
- Quiet moisturizing on lips.
- The texture is a bit gritty due to shimmer chunks.
- The taste is slightly sweeter. (This is a personal choice).
- Gives a semi glossy finish with some glittery shine. I prefer a complete glossy finish which makes lips look healthy & moisturized.
Isa Dora Lip Treat Color Flavoured Lipsticks have soft texture with slight bit of grittiness because of the shimmers. They are quite comfortable on lips & have got good pigmentation. Wear time is also pretty good for about 3.5-4 hours after which they start to fade. They have fruity fragrance & tastes sweet on lips. Melon Sorbet is a beautiful peachy coral shade perfect for spring/summer. However the shade will not show up on duskier complexions.
