The facial kit comes housed in a gold coloured cardboard box packaging . The contents of the kit are small tubes each of 13gm: A Scrub Cleanser, Glow Cream, Massage Gel & Face Pack. The best part of the packaging is the contents are provided in small travel size tubes which are very hygienic to store for future use unlike the sachets.
Scrub Cleanser: The tiny exfoliating beads get rid of all the accumulated dead cells & give a smooth & polished skin. It also removes black heads to some extent though not completely. The beads are not harsh on skin & can be used by sensitive skin.
Glow Cream: A 5-10 mins massage with this cream hydrated the skin & makes it glow because of the gold sparkles which I could see all scattered in my palms. The gold sparkles are not very apparent & can be seen slightly under the lights. The cream relaxes the tired skin & adds a boost of hydration & glow to it.
Massage Gel: I have used this only once, it just scares me with the amount of golden glitters it is loaded with. Again a few minutes of massage with this & you can see a real golden glow in your skin. But I find it too garish for my preferences hence usually skip this. It doesn’t make your face loaded with glitter or makes you a disco ball but gives a nice natural golden glow to the skin. For me the overall sight of the glitter loaded gel doesn’t appeal much.
Face Pack: I have already reviewed this HERE. This finishes off the facial process by locking in the moisture. It detoxifies skin, reduces tanning & makes skin glowing.
A single pack is sufficient for 2 facial sessions easily. So as compared to parlour rates this pack is far more economical. The kit does make my skin glow making it look very fresh & hydrated but the result hardly last for a day or two. I really cannot compare the result with professional parlour treatments which are far better. If you look closely at the ingredients list of all the contents, you will find gold sparkles in each of them which gets infused into the skin during the facial massage & gives a nice golden glow without going over the top. None of the products gave any kind of reaction on my skin or break me out. I find this pack really good for the price tag it carries.
This is a good travel handy facial kit.
- Makes skin soft, supple & glowy.
- Enough moisturizing & hydrating on skin.
- No irritation or side effects seen on skin.
- The travel size tubes packaging makes it convenient to carry the whole kit on go.
- Results don’t last for long.
- Though it claims to be herbal, the products contain parabens & alcohol.
I would prefer this as an emergency facial kit when one has not enough time to go for a parlour treatment. Travel size packs are easy to carry around & you get all the benefits of a scrub, massage &face pack in a compact pack. It gives a nice healthy glowing skin & also helps to lighten tan.
