MAC Mattene lipsticks are semi matte & may be that’s the reason I have never tried them. But this time when I saw this beautiful shade in their Posh Paradise collection couldn’t get away with it . They have creamy &smooth texture which glides effortlessly on your lips without making them feel heavy. Given that they are semi matte are not very discomforting on my lips & are enough hydrating. With rich pigmentation gives me a decent wear time for about 3-4 hours on my lips & leaves an even tint while fading without making my lips devoid of colour. The coverage is completely opaque in a single swipe.

Packaging is long sleek black twist up tube with a plain velvety black finish. Feels very rich & sophisticated. Has got trademark MAC vanilla fragrance. Overall I would recommend these & it’s a MAC which equals to heavy price tag but truly justifies the price with excellent quality & performance.

Shade: Deliciously Forbidden:

It’s a Limited Edition shade from the collection which looked Berry Red with prominent pink undertones on MAC MUA’s hands. But on me it looks more of a Plum with rich pink undertones. Nevertheless this is a gorgeous shade without any hint of shimmer which any skin tone can pull off very easily. The shade play with colour pay off across the variety of skin tones with strong pink undertones & truly justifies its gorgeousness on each of them. It’s not too bright without being understated & strikes a balance for vibrant yet soft colour pay off.  Highly Recommended!

• The excellent performance of the lipstick justifies the price.

• Nothing I can think of except that such shades should be included in permanent line.

MAC Mattene lipsticks give semi matte finish but are enough moisturising on lips without any discomfort with rich pigmentation, creamy texture & good wear time. Deliciously Forbidden is MAC’s Limited Edition shade launched in Posh Paradise Collection which varies in colour pay off from fair to duskier skin tones with strong pink undertones. On me it looks more of a plummy pink. The shade can be easily pulled off & is well balanced for rich colour payoff without being too loud!
