I got it for 720INR after discount.
I finally got the very famous Kryolan TV Paint Stick for myself. I had to choose from this huge bunch of shades but the very helpful MUA at the store patiently tried few of them & recommended shade FS26 for me which gets sink into my skin tone nicely looking very natural. The paint comes in a twist up cylindrical tube with screw top cap.
Now here’s the challenge that since the time I have got into makeup it’s hardly once or twice I have weared a full coverage foundation. Thanks to my even toned complexion that I am always comfortable with the sheer coverage. For the first few times this does made me uncomfortable being known for good medium to heavy coverage, I felt my skin to be very uneasy & trapped. So I started off with very light application enough for a low medium coverage. For some special occasions I do wear it for a fuller coverage because it is known as a good photographic foundation & let me tell you that it’s very true! It’s a boon for females in desperate need of heavier coverage & also very well conceals dark spots & dark circles.
I easily feel this foundation on my skin & hence avoid going for a heavy moisturising base with this during summers. Being a stick foundation it tends to get cakey or patchy especially on my dry skin. One has to properly moisturise the skin before using this otherwise it really gets difficult to blend it on dry skin. Thankfully it don’t get dried up immediately after dotting on the face & you get ample amount of time for proper seamless blending. I find finger blending to be best with this. It glides nicely on a moisturised/primed skin for a flawless application. The other way I use this is with a wet sponge which dilute it to some extent making it somewhat lighter on skin with permitted easy blending.
This doesn’t get oxidised & stays intact for whole day on my skin. Overall it’s my HG foundation for photography purpose offering long wear with fuller coverage! Otherwise usually I am fine with my TM’s. I am not much comfortable with this for daily wear.
- Good medium to heavy coverage.
- Conceals spots, blemishes & dark circles effectively.
- A true photogenic foundation.
- Don’t get oxidised.
- Stays intact for whole day without need of any retouches.
- Pricing is good & you get good amount of product which lasts for long.
- Gets cakey & patchy without a moisturising base making it difficult to blend.
- This feels a bit heavier so may not be oily skin friendly & if used then don’t forget to set it with powder.
- Availability issues. With such wide range of shade selection it’s really difficult to choose the right shade online.
- Feels heavy on skin & hence won’t recommend for everyday use.
Good medium to heavier coverage, effective all over concealing, long wear time, perfectly photogenic is what Kryolan TV Paint Stick is all about. It does feel a heavier on skin & hence not a good everyday option for females who prefers lighter coverage. The vast shade selection range offers something for every skin tone.

Sounds perfect
