This is one of my earliest purchases from Revlon when I was not at all comfortable with liquid liners. This was & still a staple for me for a quick liner application with an intense jet black pigmentation & here when I say ‘JET BLACK’ I really mean it.

The liner is a long black sharpenable  wooden pencil with a smooth & creamy texture which glides on eyes effortlessly without any tugging. The texture is not insanely creamy but hard enough to hold onto the skin without getting smudged easily with a smooth matte powdery kind of finish. Somewhere between creamy & smooth powdery finish which doesn’t budge or slip on skin.

Though the pencil is not waterproof or smudge proof but it holds onto upper lids for around 5-6 hours on me without any major smudging but unfortunately I have watery eyes & it barely stays for an hour before getting wiped off completely from waterline. But I won’t take away the points here as none of the pencils survives on my watery eyes. Waterproof ones gives me a wear time of 2-2.5 hours & reapplication is much needed every single day. It does not sting or irritate my eyes. It works great as a base for smokey eye look.

To club up it’s a multipurpose one for me: as a liner, as a eyeshadow base & a kajal & also sometimes for eyebrows too, the texture ensures that it glides smoothly through my brows.

Overall I am very much convinced with the quality of the pencil with a justified price tag.

Smooth, creamy yet hard enough to hold onto skin without quick budging, intense jet black pigmentation in 1-2 swipes with a decent wear of 5-6 hours on lids while smudges on waterline for females with watery eyes otherwise stays put easily for longer. With no false claims & good performance the liner justifies it’s so reasonable price tag. Highly Recommended!
