Ayur Herbal Astringent comes in a sturdy semi transparent white plastic bottle with a green screw cap. There is a small hole on the top for dabbing cotton with astringent. It is light green in color and is runny in consistency. It has strong smell similar to camphor but it fades away as soon as I apply it on my skin. However, if you have sensitive nose I would suggest you to stay away from it.
I usually apply astringent before makeup to make it stay longer especially during summers. After washing my face I pour some astringent on cotton pad and pat it all over my skin. It gives a nice cooling sensation (may be due to the presence of mint and aloe). I follow it up with a moisturizer.
I always make sure to use it minimally as excessive usage might dry up my sensitive skin. It doesn’t make my skin oily for a good 7-8 hours. It can also be used after waxing or threading to prevent redness and irritation. Although I don’t have large pores but one of my friends told me it does minimize pores. Although it is meant for oily skinned people I would suit normal skin as well. But a big NO for dry skinned beauties as it might dry out your skin more.

Ayur Herbal Astringent has a runny consistency and is green in color. It keeps oil at bay for good 7-8 hours. I usually use it before makeup to increase its longevity. It tightens pores as well. Since no detailed list of ingredients is mentioned, there might be a possibility of the presence of alcohol in it. I would definitely recommend it to normal to oily skinned people.
