Maybelline Colorama nail enamels are known for their vast range of shade selections for a pocket friendly price with great product delivery. They come in a thick glass bottle with elongated white cap.

Formula wise I find them very easy to work with as being more on runny side. They apply on nails with great ease & give a streak free finish. These takes 3-4 minutes for drying  & hence chances of fabric patterns on nails especially for me as most of the times I feel very lousy to wait till the coat dries up completely. The longing power is impressive & stay put on my nails for a week with very minor chipping if I do some heavy-duty hand work. Otherwise the formula remains intact even at my nails tip which is more prone to chipping every time.

Overall Maybelline Colorama nail enamels performs excellently on nails with great affordability.

Shade: Velvet Crush:

Velvet Crush is a gorgeous dual chrome purple shade with minute purple shimmer which settles down as a sheeny finish on nails reflecting darker purple & a earth toned purple shades. The shade is well-balanced without being too loud or understated on nails. It looks beautiful on nails during nights under the changing intensity of lights reflecting the dual chromes.

In day light it looks more of a softer shade as brownish purple while in strong artificial lights at night it gives out a vibrant yet not loud purple reflects. The shade is good enough to be weared any day or for occasions. It gives an almost complete coverage in single coat with slight nail line to be seen & a truly opaque coverage by second coat.

This is quite a versatile shade which I have not come across in any other brand (till date). If you love purples then it’s a must have in your vanity.

The Maybelline Colorama nail enamels have easily workable formula which applies smoothly & evenly on nails. With medium to rich pigmentation they give a good wear time for about a week with minor wear off which is barely noticeable. They come with a great affordability & excellent product delivery. Velvet Crush is a beautiful dual chrome purple shade with minute purple shimmer. The shade is very apt to be carried easily without being loud or too muted.
