Glides and blends easily over the cheekbones to highlight and add a hint of colour to the face.
Available in three shades: Blossom, Rosebud & Clove
These cream blushes from Boots No.7 takes me to the good older days when I just starting wearing makeup & these made a perfect companion for a hassle free blush application. Available only in limited 3 shades never bothered me to use my brain for even shade selection. Slightly low to moderate pigmentation which can be built up & blends effortlessly without any hassles. If you are a beginner & want a cream blush to start with look no further than this one! It does have some drawbacks which I will be discussing further but still all I have is some good memories with this blush & hence the review might seem to be a bit biased.
The packaging is very pretty & compact. It comes in a glossy black cylindrical twist up tube which reminds of Lakme Cheek Artist. For the price you get only 3 gms of product which gets finished off very fast. The blush has got a creamy texture but not so much that it comes out melting or in a semi liquidy form (read NYX cream blushes). The blush stick is compact enough & holds its creamy state well without creating any mess around the tube even in extreme hot temperatures. It settles down as a dewy finish on skin but not very shiny.I like the fact it doesn’t let go off that dewiness despite being a bit harder than the usual cream blush formula. Having said that make sure that your foundation is not cakey otherwise it can accentuate the cakeyness of your makeup base.
The pigmentation is sheer to moderate but can be built up for high intensity show. However the pigmentation can be built up till certain extent after which the blush looks very heavily layered up & cakey on skin. The blush gives a decent wear time of about 5-6 hours when applied moderately & if built up stays beyond that with slight fading. But at no point of time it would make your cheeks completely devoid of colour. It blends effortlessly on cheeks. All you need is a swipe or two on your cheeks & some finger blending. You can use a brush of your choice too.
The major drawback for me is the price of freaking 800 INR just for 3 gms of product. That’s the power of British Pound you see! Overall I won’t recommend this to females who are completely into makeup & are used to brands like MAC or Lore ’al . For me it seems more of an average product which makes a good choice for the beginners. But still I like it & keep buying this every time I get a chance.
Clove is a gorgeous Pinkish-Brown shade which looks very softer & warmer on dusky skintones. On my skintone it looks more of a peachy brown shade giving a very natural flush. From the shades available in this range Rosebud & Clove will look good on duskier skin tones while Blossom is more of a cool tones pinkish blush which will flatter paler tones.
This is a shade which I can go to any day blindly without any confusion. For some no makeup looks or subtle makeups all I do is apply a bit of gloss, mascara & a liner, finally finishing off with this blush. Absolutely natural & gives a very soft look to the entire face. The shade is not very versatile & you can easily find dupes for this one. Gingerly from MAC comes close but it is more peachy while this one is more brownish.
If you are Ok to pamper yourself with a brand not found in India with a big hole in your pocket then check out the No.7 range where they have some good collection to look for.

Boots No.7 Blush Tint Cream Blushes are super smooth & creamy in texture. They have moderate buildable pigmentation & gives a decent wear time for about 6-8 hours depending on the intensity of application. However the shade selection is very limited to three shades with a hefty price tag. They perform just above average where you get much better product quality for the price in other brands.
