Polish up your pout! This gorgeous gloss glides over your lipstick for brilliant shine, or smoothes on alone for glamorous, glossy lips with a soft, barely-there scent. Your lips never looked so good!
The Elizabeth Arden high shine lip glosses comes in a very common & known rectangular tube packaging. Nothing interesting looks boring. Has got a typical doe foot applicator for easy hassle free smooth application. Though I found the applicator sponge a bit harder than the usual ones but don’t create any problems during the application. Picks up ample amount of gloss for covering the lips in a single go.
Formula wise they are creamy without being sticky or gooey & provides a gorgeous mirror like shine to the lips making them look fuller & plumper. They are super moisturizing on my dry lips & at no point of time makes them uncomfortable or feel the urge for moisturization. The fine golden shimmers being the basic characteristic of these glosses which provides that shine & fullness to the lips with a tinge of actual shade. Hence the coverage is mostly sheer to medium depending on the build-up of the shade (but read the golden shimmer with stress here!). If you go for a darker & intense shade, then you get a much better coverage without settling down into fine lines of the lips.
They last for around 2-3 hours on my lips after which the shimmers stays back without any hint of colour. Also the gloss is highly transferable & gets easily onto crockery or other eatables which is irritating most of the times. For the price I was expecting a better longevity from the gloss. It doesn’t have any distinctive fragrance but if you completely dig your nose, experience an artificial plastic kind of smell (only if you dig your nose, otherwise more or less it is odourless).
All in one I didn’t find anything special to rave about these glosses & they deliver equally as a normal drugstore glosses which are far affordable than these. I find them little over priced here from the delivery & performance point of view.
Shade: Golden Pearl
It’s a very natural looking shade with a tinge of pink & fine golden shimmer (In the swatch I have layered to show the actual shade). These days I am going through a Lip gloss phase & I prefer these kind of anyday go to natural shades for regular wear. If you have unpigmented naturally pink lips then this shade brings out the pinkish tones of your lips beautifully. The golden shimmer makes lips look fuller & glossier with slight hues of pink & this is what I call as “Perfect for a Summery Day Out”. So if you are looking for a decent coverage natural looking glosses for an everyday wear check this one out!

Elizabeth Arden High Shine Lip Glosses true to their name provides a brilliant shine to lips with some decent coverage. Lips appear fuller. The performance is not something which keeps a pace with the hefty price tag with these glosses. The longevity, pigmentation, coverage & formula is something which is available with most of the much affordable drugstore brands. All this is accompanied by a very unappealing packaging. Overall not worth of the price! Shade Golden Pearl is not a very bold statement making one but a very soft yet bright , natural looking with a tinge of pink & shining golden shimmer which doesn’t look OTT. The shade is perfect for a muted makeup during these scorching heats.
