The shampoo comes in typical Aroma Magic packaging with opaque white coloured squeeze tube & red coloured flip flop cap. It has got a very thick cream texture. The shampoo is so thick that it doesn’t squeeze out of the tube easily & one has to apply lot of pressure to get some product out. Also it won’t spread easily on hair & if you prefer diluting your shampoo before use, is not an easy job here. The formula is quite difficult to work with. It’s a pain when it takes 5-10 minutes just for squeezing out your product especially with the slippery hands in shower. I have transferred the entire content in an empty tub & now its lot easier to scoop out required amount for use.
The shampoo doesn’t lathers profusely as most of the sulphates containing ones but decent enough to thoroughly cleanse the hair. The dilution or direct application is also bit time consuming as it doesn’t spreads easily on hair. But the results are pretty good. Hair feels soft & smooth. Females with frizzy hair will love this shampoo. I didn’t noticed any improved or extra shine in my hair while using this but this surely helps to relax the flying, frizzy & dry hair making it soft & smooth. I would still recommend not skipping your conditioner while using this as dry hair loses the hydration very easily due to lack of natural oils & conditioners helps to restore the moisture levels of your hair for longer duration. Remember shampoo is meant for cleansing & not for moisturizing your hair. The creamy formula here is what helps to restore the hair texture without much damage. This won’t work on oiled hair unless you are ok to spend some 45 minutes in shower just cleansing your hair 4-5 times to get the oil washed away. Oily scalp please stay away is what I would say.
I am not at all comfortable with the formula & if you like your shampoo’s to be very quick & active in their job then stay away from this. But if you are ready to compromise with a lousy product to get your hair back in shape, check this one out.
- Easy squeeze tube packaging.
- Keeps hair soft & smooth.
- Reduces dryness & fizziness.
- Calms the flying hair.
- Easy on pocket.
- The formula is very very thick & not easy to work with.
- It takes lot of effort just to squeeze out the product.
- Doesn’t spread easily on hair.
- Doesn’t work on oiled hair or takes hell lot of time to cleanse the oil.
The Aroma Magic Aloe Vera Cream Shampoo keeps your hair soft & smooth scaring away those frizzes & fly aways. It adds a good hydration boost to your hair along with the conditioner. However the formula is a pain to work with, extremely thick which doesn’t get spread easily & would not go well with oiled hair.
