Facia Facial bar comes in 2 sizes : 25 gm & 75 gm which gives a flexibility to test the product in smaller size & then go for a bigger one if suits the skin. The Key ingredients of the facia bar are Kesar (Saffron) & Chandan (Sandalwood) which are very well known for their cleansing & complexion improving properties. I myself use homemade facepack of kesar & chandan very regularly. The packaging is a commen one as we find with many of the soaps. This facial bar comes housed in a cardboard box packaging  with bar wrapped in an plastic cover accompanied with a plastic holder which has got pores on the bottom ensuring no water retention on the bar.

The bar looks like our very own pears soap with that translucent brown colour & some kesar strands visible when its new. The strands gets dissolved with regular usage of the bar. The fragrance of this bar is very artificial of some strong perfume. The strongness is due to the presence of Camphor, and Derivatives of Saffron and Sandalwood. However it gets diluted during usage but the strong fragrance attacks your nose not in a good way once you open the new pack. The fragrance starts lingering as soon as you start rubbing the bar in your palms. However the fragrance doesn’t remain that strong once you start using it regularly.

Now coming to the effectiveness, this gives a lot of claims but I won’t be able to comment on stuff like blemishes, pimples & wrinkles as I don’t have them. The bar lathers well & makes skin squeaky clean with a just about 2-3 minutes massage. This does not help for makeup removal & doesn’t claim so. This is a pure skin care product which helps to restore the natural health of your skin. It never dries out my skin despite of strong lather it gives but still preferred not to miss the moisturizer. My skin feels clean & fresh without any discomfort. It does helps to keep the skin complexion clean & radiant. I won’t say it transforms you into a 40 watt bulb making you lightening the whole surroundings but does a fair job in improving the complexion, making your skin look naturally radiant with regular usage. I use this bar only for my face & I am just about to finish the half of the smaller bar which will easily last for 1-1.5 weeks more for me.

Overall I am quite satisfied with this facia bar which helps keeping my skin clean & radiant without any discomfort. I just had some inconvenience with the fragrance in the beginning but now it’s not that disturbing.

This is great regular skin care routine product which keeps skin naturally radiant & healthy with regular usage. The anti-bacterial & skin softening properties of saffron & sandalwood ensures a younger looking skin.

*PS: I have removed the second con of presence of Artificial Perfume in the product. Just had a email conversation with brand’s Marketing Manager who told me that the perfume used in the product is natural derivative of Sandalwood Oil which cannot be used in the product directly due to ban for using it directly. Hence we can be relieved that most of the herbal brands use preservatives & Perfumes derived from natural sources & not the synthetic one.
