The Bourjois version of felt tip liner is nothing much different from previously reviewed NYX one except that Bourjois one is more pigmented. The packaging is same as pen style one but is slimmer than NYX. The spongy felt tip applicator allows for easy precise thick & thin lines & the pointed tip runs close to the lash line without any pulling or tugging. The pen style gives a much better control & grip to the hands compared to liquid ones. I will be updating these posts if I find the formula drying up with regular usage. The Bourjois Ultra Black Felt tip liner gives a MATTE finish while NYX one gives a more glossy finish. It has got richer pigmentation as compared to NYX. So if you are someone who comes in jet black lover camp do check out this one.

The only concern with these felt tip liners is that they are not water proof & completely smudge proof. This is somewhat better than NYX & does not budge completely so easily when rubbed & gives better wear time but again gets easily washed off if get in contact with water. This makes them unreliable for monsoon use. If these came in waterproof formula are sure to be the most important staple in every female’s handbag for the ease of usability & long wear time.

Bourjois Ultra Black Felt tip Liner is one of the most convenient liners for getting precise & much controlled application than liquid liner. The sleek pen style packaging gives a better grip & hold on application. A must have beginner product. It gives a deep matte jet black colour on lids which dries quickly without any complications. Stays intact till removed.The only drawback of the product is it’s not waterproof & run down easily even with a slight contact with plain water. Can budge easily on oily lids.
