This version of L’Oreal Professionnel hair care range was recommended by my parlour lady when I was having a regular hair cut from her & that she could easily notice the difference in my hair volume. I have naturally thick hair but looks dull because of dryness for which I never miss my protein treatment at parlour. As she uses most of the L’Oreal Professionnel hair care range on her clients suggested me to go for this shampoo.
The packaging is simple & no fuss. It comes in a pale green coloured bottle with flip flop cap. The shampoo is in the form of transparent gel which is gentle on hair but lathers well to get that clean feel to the hair. Though I was sceptical about the results after getting disappointed with my previous L’oreal Professionnel Nature Serie – Oiliss Shampoo, but was pretty surprised the way it turned out to be. I could feel that fluffiness in my hair after a week of regular use along with proper & regular oil massage which I was doing continuously but still couldn’t combat with my hair fall completely. My hair was all lean & dull but this shampoo changed that completely. I could feel some bounce & that limpness was certainly gone. There was no difference in my hair texture or shine but that slight roughness was gone & my hair got smoother. BUT, the major concern still remained the same- HAIRFALL. The shampoo did improve the volume & limpness didn’t help at all for the hairfall reduction. Though the protein treatments & regular hot oil massage were of great help to control my hairfall to some extent but not a permanent solution. Since the time I started working, lack of proper diet & stress hit on my hair health badly. For that she suggested me one more variant & having no other choice I started using that (will be reviewing it next).
It never gave me any dryness issues thankfully & was very friendly with my hair’s bad health without make it more bad. I have no complaints with the product & it delivers all its claims. It’s a volumising shampoo & does that exactly to your hair so don’t expect it to give some shine or controlling fizziness of your hair. The L’Oreal Hair Professionnel range has variants for each hair problem & you can consult your parlour lady for the appropriate one for your hair.
I would suggest this shampoo to females who are looking for some added hair volume for their limp & thin hair.
