MAC Pearlglide intense eye liners were launched with MAC’s Tartan Tale Collection (as limited edition) & then again with MAC Vera Collection (few shades made into permanent line). The line represents shimmery shades with buttery smooth texture & rich pigmentation. If you are not into shimmer liners then can skip this range as all shades have fair level of shimmers in them.

They have extremely soft & creamy texture making you feel like the liner melting down on your lids while working with. Having said that, once dried on lids they are smudge proof & water proof & won’t come out till removed with an oil based cleanser. The uber soft texture makes it very easy to get versatility in the looks. Can smudge them for a smoked out look or can be used as a crease proof base on lids to make eyeshadows stay longer or just budge them slightly on the outer corner of the lids to give a nice dimension to the eyes , they work fabulously. These eye liners also perform at par in terms of wear time & pigmentation. A single swipe is what you need to get nice colour on your lids but I always gives 2-3 swipes for more intensity (I like to wear my liner with high colour intensity). I haven’t tried these on my waterline because of the shimmers and my watery eyes but they flare extremely well on lower lash line too. Stays intact on my lids till removed without any fade or shimmer travel. The shimmers are quite obvious in the shades but don’t affect the incredible smooth texture. They are very well blended within the texture but retain their glaze distinctively once on lids without getting displaced all over the lids post application.

The packaging is very user-friendly with wooden sharpen able pencil body having a coloured strip at the other end making the shade location easier. But there’s lots & lots of product wastage due to the creamier texture of these pencils. Overall they accomplish in every segment & are highly recommended.

Shade: Lord It Up is a gorgeous bronze with gold shimmer. It looks more of a bronze in single swipe but once layered translates into high intensity darker shade with iridescent bronze-gold reflects. The strong reflects of the shade ensures to prove its presence on the darkest of the lids too. The high shimmer content restricts the use of these liners for casual wear or special occasions. There’s nothing to complain about the product & would be soon checking out other shades especially Black Line & Black Swan.

MAC Pearlglide Intense Eye Liners portrays an array of shimmery shades with incredible soft & buttery texture, rich pigmentation & are long wearing. The shimmer lovers are going to love the range for its fantastic performance. The shades have got these amazing high reflects & iridescent sheen adding a spunk to the eyes. Highly Recommended. Lord It Up is a beautiful bronze gold shimmers , a perfect combination of natural hue with flirty shimmers to add some glamour.
