Today I did this berry purple eye makeup. I have been digging into purples a lot these days & this was just a casual experiment to combine purple with MAC Cranberry.
1. Urban Deacay Primer Potion
2. MAC Cranberry Eyeshadow
3. Inglot 446 Eyeshadow
4. MAC Pinked Mauve Pigment
5. Lakme Black Satin Kajal
6. MAC Blitz & Glitz Fluidline
7. MAC Zoom Fast Black Lash Mascara
To Get the Look:
1. Clean & prime your eyes. Apply MAC Cranberry all over the lids without touching the crease.
2. Then take a dark purple eyeshadow like Inglot 446 and apply on the outer corner of the eye blending it into crease.
3. Then dab MAC Pinked Mauve pigment very lightly on the lid without entering into purple zone. Make sure not to exert heavy pressure. Just pat tiny amount of pigment with your ring finger.
4. Line the upper lash line with gel liner extending it slightly outwards to form a crisp wing. Also tightline to give volume to lashes.
5. Line the lower waterline with jet black kajal/eye liner & apply it in messy way on lower lash line.
6. Blend the messy kajal/liner on lower lash line with the Cranberry & Inglot 446 shade to create a hazy effect.
7. Finish off with loads of mascara.
1. Lakme Perfect Radiance Foundation
2. Korres Anti Ageing Primer
3. MAC Plum Foolery Blush
Start by moisturising your face. Then apply a good moisturising primer like Korres Anti Ageing Primer (since I have dry skin). Blend in foundation of your choice. I generally don’t set my foundation with compact to keep that dewey look on my otherwise very dry skin. Since I am doing a purple inspired look used a similar toned blush i.e MAC Plum Foolery. You can opt for any mauve toned blush for this look.
Colorbar Velvet Matte Peach Crush Lipstick. I know this sounds a weird combination but I got this shade 2 days & wanted to wear it badly so layered it a bit to get it darker on lips. I liked the it turned out with the entire look.
