L’Oreal Paris Infallible Mono Eyeshadow comes in attractive transparent plastic cases with a black plastic protective lid below the main screw cap. The main top lid is coloured respective to the eyeshadow which is good for picking up shades. Overall packaging is quiet nice but not highly user friendly & one need to be carefully while loading the brush as the eyeshadows tends to fly out sometimes. Also I really wish they would have given an outer cardboard carton for the packaging because when I picked up my shades they were all untidy on the bottom (maybe because were not stored properly by SA’s) & some shades had minor scratches on the packaging which looks unpleasant. The outer carton would have protected them from catching dirt & avoiding the chances of shipping or accidental breakages.
Leaving behind the packaging complications, I have all good things to say about them. Texture wise they are joy to work with. Buttery smooth & soft almost feels like a cream & L’Oreal is bang on to call them as a Hybrid between powder & cream eyeshadows. They have this crispness of power shadows & the uber smooth velvety texture of creamy shadows. I love to use my MAC 217 brush for these as it picks up enough product & being denser gives enough room for product to adhere nicely without any issues. The eyeshadow applies very smoothly with a negligible amount of fall out & stays put till removed on my lids. I have tested All Night Blue, Endless Chocolate & Permanent Khaki for 15 hours & they were all fresh & intact on my lid. I don’t face any creasing issues because of my super dry lids & I am sure these will flare more than the tested time on my lids without any issues. They blend very easily & are one of the best eyeshadows I have ever tried. Also are priced very decently.
Overall keeping apart minor packaging flaws it’s a fabulous product.
All Night Blue was a part of Canes 2012 special L’Oreal Electric Collection. It’s a gorgeous shimmery Midnight Blue. I could see these blue & black reflects suspended in a rich dark Indigo Blue base. The best part is that shade looks quite blackened but it never looks black & retains its depth & vibrancy pretty well. I tried pairing this shade with matte black shadow & it strongly overcomes it appearing in original deep blue shade. It is one of the highly pigmented & vibrant shades from the collection. There are many dupes available but if you love blues & vibrant shades then go for this.
- Soft & smooth texture.
- Highly pigmented.
- Applies smoothly & easily blendable.
- Very negligible fall out.
- Outstanding wear time.
- Well priced with substantial product quantity.
- Not one of the best & user friendly packaging.
Are one of the best quality driven eyeshadows with uber smooth & soft texture which applies & blends easily with negligible fall out. The texture is the hybrid of powder & cream eyeshadows that delivers excellently in terms of wear time, application, pigmentation & workability. The packaging does have some minor flaws but can be overseen looking at the product quality. All Night Blue is a gorgeous vibrant shimmery midnight blue which looks stunning on eyes.
