Tapered for shading and highlighting cheeks and face with blush. The bristles on this brush are soft and form a full, rounded shape. M·A·C professional brushes are hand-sculpted and assembled using the finest quality materials. They feature wood handles and nickel-plated brass ferrules.
The Mac 116 blush brush is made up of natural bristles which are immensely soft but firm enough to do the job. Best suited for powdered products. The bristles pack the colour softly & blends out the edges perfectly giving a very natural finish. Before MAC 116 the only blush brush I was using is Inglot 15BJF which is slightly bigger & fluffier. The shape of MAC 116 looks somewhat flattened with rounded tapered bristles but has got great density to pick up the good amount of product from the sheerest of blushes. The brush doesn’t appear too fluffier but the voluminous density in bristles make the job more professional. This brush I would say is perfect for me, I have a small face & it gives better control for the product application. Though I have absolutely no complaints with my Inglot brush but at times it does spreads the product way beyond the desired areas for me. The slightly flattened edge of 116 gives good angle for contouring & highlighting job too & I don’t have to invest in a separate brush for the job. All in one it is one good multi tasking face brush, best suited as a blush & contouring brush for me.
I have been using this since 3 months & haven’t shed a single hair yet. If you are looking out for a good high quality multifunctional face brush then invest in this baby & you won’t be disappointed.
