I had already reviewed the shades Chestnut Glaze and Silver Sand from this range. I got the shade ‘Violet Vapours’ free with the purchase of two Street Wear Satin Smooth Lipsticks during offers. Street Wear Satin Smooth Lip Colors are easily available across any Street Wear counter or on online websites.
Street Wear Satin Smooth Lip Color comes in a dark purple casing with a thin silver metal band in centre which is sturdy and travel friendly. There is no color peeping from the tube so you will have to open it to identify the shade in case you hoard many. The cap of the lip color is quite tight and you can easily carry it around in your purse. The shade number and name are mentioned at the bottom of the lipstick. It has got faint scent which you can hardly smell.
The texture of the lipstick is smooth and creamy though not buttery smooth. Unless you have extremely dry chapped lips you won’t feel the need to apply lip balm underneath. It glides easily on my lips without settling into fine lines, smudging or bleeding and gives a moisturized feel and look to the lips. It is quite pigmented and gives true color in 2 swipes. Of course you can easily build up the color if you want a more intense and bold look. It doesn’t settle into fine lines. It feels very light and comfortable on my lips. The finish is satiny and gives little shine to the lips but there are no shimmers at all. The staying power is pretty average. It stays put on my lips for about 3-4 hours with lip balm underneath and even if you have light meals in between it will leave a nice hint of tint. It tends to transfer easily on glasses or cups but fades evenly. It doesn’t tend to melt or break in hot summers.
