Vamp it Up- The color of the shade is like deep maroon. It’s a great color for night outs. This shade does not have a good pigmentation though. It’s quiet transparent in single coat and the nails beneath are visible but on the second application it covers well giving a deep maroon colour.
Twilight Blue- I love the name of this shade .It’s a deep midnight blue shade. I love this better than vamp it up. It has a good pigmentation and a single coat is sufficient to cover up your nails beautifully.
The nail enamels comes in small glass bottles with a rectangular screw top caps. I did not find the applicator that very good. It is very thin so you need to apply 2-3 times to cover your nail. I prefer a bit broader applicators which fans easily and covers the nails in a single go. The broader applicators also ensure even distribution of the nail paints. So, that’s a drawback I think. The nail paints has an even consistency and when applied, do not streak and spreads evenly.
This range has many other shades but the pigmentation varies from shade to shade. The staying power is average and if applied without a base coat it kind of starts chipping after 2-3 days. The staying power is appreciable if applied with a base and top coat. As the name suggests it does dry very fast. By the time I start applying on the 3rd nail the first is completely dry. But it takes a little more time to dry up if a double coat is applied. They some beautiful colors but the thing with Avon are that the color turns out to be completely different that what is displayed in the catalogue. These will surely attract teenagers as the price is reasonable and also Avon has great offer and they have good variety of shades. But if you are looking for something that provides heavy duty it’s probably not the best available nail paints.
