Bold, smudge-proof color that lasts up to 24 hours
Easily glides to create delicate to dramatic lines
Revlon Colorstay Crème Gel Liner comes in a tiny pot with long sleek cap hold containing attached applicator brush which makes it elongated. The brush provided is ok though not great but does a pretty good job for getting those thin as well as thick lines. The bristles are sturdy enough to hold onto skin well during application but not scratchy to hurt. Overall I liked the concept of attached applicator brush which slims down the hassle of carrying a separate liner brush for on go touch ups. The only grudge being the so tiny tub size especially looking at the price.
The formula is not incredibly buttery as we find with most of the high end brands like MAC but smooth & creamy enough to glide effortlessly without any tugs or pulls depositing colour evenly on lids. Pigmentation wise they are pretty good & retain that slight translucency quality due to which one needs to come back for a swipe more to get complete opacity. Infact apart from texture I find them more or less same in every segment comparing to MAC or Bobbi Brown. They settle down as smudgeproof & waterproof post application. The formula dries quickly but still gives enough flexibility to play around. They wear for good whole day on me without any fading or budging but comparatively gets removed easily. Overall I am really pleased with these gel liners but there isn’t much shade variations in the range, only 4 shades are available.
I picked up Charcoal Carbon which is a beautiful deep graphite shade with silver sheen. It comes very close to Urban Decay Eyeshadow Gunmetal. I was looking out for some deeper greys just when the shade caught my attention. It adds enough colour on lids without the need of an eyeshadow & perfect to go for when you just want some defined eyes without much efforts. The shade holds enough depth to show up on lids (even darker)easily. Charcoal Carbon is absolutely safe on waterline without any discomfort & stayed put for good 4 hours on my watery eyes. It wore for whole day (8-9 hours) without any alterations. The texture is smooth & creamy with finely milled pearlescent shimmer. I am eyeing the deep purple from the collection next. If you don’t have high budget for gel liners like MAC or Bobbi Brown, can check these out though I find these also slightly expensive for the quantity given.

These gel liners from Revlon performs no less than high end brands in every segment only the texture being slightly stiffer comparatively. They possess good pigmentation, wear time & longevity.
