Midnight Snack is a deep Charcoal Grey with silver shimmers. The shade nice is a softer alternative for regular black eyeliners. If you don’t like the starkness of black eyeliner then probably will love this. The shimmers are perfectly blended into the buttery soft texture without any grittiness & adds up for a nice sheen post application My friend gifted this to me when I was desperately hunting for some deeper greys. I ended up buying Revlon Crème Liner & this shade from Shop MAC Cook MAC collection was fortunately available at her nearby MAC counter, so she picked up for me. Revlon Crème Liner in Charcoal Carbon is a potential dupe for this one, Revlon being a tone darker.
It applies smoothly & uniformly as ever packing a good solid line with a single go. But I do need to come back for a second swipe for a complete opacity. MAC Fluidlines are known for their smooth & creamy texture with good pigmentation & long wearing properties. Midnight Snack is no exception. The shade retains enough depth to give precisely defined eyes. It is perfectly safe on waterline too & wears for considerable period on my otherwise watery eyes. The formula settles down as waterproof & smudgeproof lasting for exceptionally longer duration. They come housed in a sturdy black cardboard packaging , the actual product sitting in a tiny hefty bottomed glass tub.
I love the Limited Editions of these fluidlines from MAC where we get to see some unique shades. I am so regretting to let go Added Goodness from the collection. You can check for my reviews on more of MAC’s Fluidlines Blitz & Glitz, Macroviolet, Dark Diversion & Local Wares. Also check out some swatches of LE & Permanent range fluidlines HERE.

- Safe on waterline & survives for good 6 hours on my watery eyes.
- The product doesn’t dry out in short term & has got good life span making the investment worth in every bit.
- A nice alternative for regular wear black liners.
It’s a good alternative for regular blacks if looking for softer version but reserves enough depth to define the eyes. The texture is excellent as always with MAC fluidlines & goes on smoothly with almost opaque in single pass. Though one needs a second swipe to get a packed coverage which is the case with most of the fluidlines from MAC.
