Deborah Milano Hi tech blusher comes in a sturdy, round, glossy black compact with a transparent flip open lid. The transparent lid allows easy identification of the shade in case you hoard many. There is a small brush attached tightly at the bottom of the blush. The brush is a retractable one and has not so soft bristles. In fact I find the brush rubbish and useless however it can sometimes be handy for on the go touch ups or if you forget to carry your own blush brush. The shade name and number are also mentioned at the bottom of the pan. The compact casing is quite sturdy and can be easily carried around in a makeup bag.
The blusher looks like a baked blush on first appearance but the texture is not at all like a baked one. The texture of the blusher is soft and smooth. It is finely milled and not chalky or powdery at all. It picks up easily and evenly spreads across my cheeks without being patchy. I usually use a nice fluffy brush for application. You just need to swipe the brush across the blush lightly and sweep or dab it across your cheeks. It blends like a dream and doesn’t look OTT . It feels very light, soft and silky as it is applied to my skin. It gives a nice, soft glow to my face without going OTT. The pigmentation is awesome. I only need one swipe to get soft color on my cheeks. The staying power is pretty good. It stays put on my cheeks for a good 5-6 hours without fading. The blush doesn’t cause any adverse effects to my oily, acne prone and sensitive skin.
Shade ‘Mogano 59’:
‘Mogano’ is a gorgeous mauvish pink color with brown undertones. It contains silver shimmers which are very fine and subtle. The color pay off is amazing and you need to apply it with a light hand to avoid looking like a clown. The blusher gives a nice and subtle glow to my cheeks. It is great for both day and night wear. It would look flattering on all skin tones.
