|Alcohol-free toner — with purifying Camomile, Alpine Herbs, and Linden extracts — removes every last trace of cleanser, leaving normal-to-dry skin types pH-balanced, pristine-clean and perfectly refreshed. Softens and soothes irritations.|
I have been hooked onto the Clarins Cleansing Milk with Alpine Herbs ever since I got to try it one of my Velvette Box editions. Then currently when running out of my toner I decided to try this Camomile Toning Lotion from the brand which is specifically designed for dry skin & is free of alcohol.
It comes in a sturdy transparent plastic bottle. The product itself is a yellowish colour liquid with a refreshing fragrance without being overwhelming. The product is dispensed out through a nozzle opening where most of the times I take out more than the required amount. I prefer pump dispensers for the products which needed to be used in controlled amount. The lotion does adds a boost of moisture to my super dry skin even with these soring temperatures and keeps the skin soft & supple. It never feels drying but then there’s nothing extraordinary about the product where it classify itself apart some of the best drugstore toners I have used like Fab India’s Lavender Skin Toner or the Lotus Herbals Rosetone. I find it very similar to later ones without any exceptional results to mention & fail to convince the hefty price tag for me. I use it after cleansing twice a day for a well-balanced moisturised skin. It removes the very last speck of any impurities remained on the skin. Alcohol free formula is surely a thumbs up but again you do get similar formulas in drugstore brands for affordable price.
- Fresh refreshing fragrance.
- Alcohol free.
- Keeps skin moisturised & supple.
- Removes any dirt or grit left on the skin.
- Would have preferred pump packaging to avoid wastage.
- Though I love the formula there’s nothing exceptional to justify the heavy price tag.
An alcohol free mild refreshing toner for dry skin types which performs nothing better than a drugstore brand. Nothing exceptional to recommend this looking at the price tag but if looking for a change & try something new in little extra budget ,is a good option.
