Skin, is probably the most important part of your body that needs to be taken care of. Dermatologists make millions of money every single day, at the cost of others who fail to do the very least for their skin- thus resulting in break-outs, acne problems, dark-circles and many more. With the boom of skin care products available in the market, you can probably conceal or paint all of that, but what happens when you see that face in the morning? Thus, here are 6 simple ways to not just look beautiful, but feel beautiful:
Wash it out
Your skin loves water, hence hydration is the first call. Carry a bottle of water, the way you carry that kajal or compact in your purse. Sip it religiously. Remember that sweat is probably the most important thing for your skin, since it flushes out the toxicity. If you are a working woman and sweat is not your call, remember to atleast wash your face twice daily, first thing in the morning and last thing in the night.
Eat and not starve
Remember, your skin is what you eat. You can most obviously crash diet, because that anorexic popular girl in your college is what you always wanted to be. But remember, 10 years down the line, the tables would turn. You need not be a health freak or stuff yourself to get that radiance. All your diet needs to include fruits (four of them), pulses and fish.
It is extremely essential to use a sun-block, for 365 days a year irrespective of the weather. Make sure the same is a dermatologically tested and SPF 40. For anyone having a sensitive skin, diluting a sun-block with rose water or any light moisturizer is a viable option. Using an umbrella could be an alternative, if you are not exactly the cream types.
Moisturizing and Scrubbing
As much as your skin needs to breathe, it needs to be fed. To have that perfect glow, it is best to use a mild scrub preferably apricot to clear out the dead skin pores, but then you do not want to leave that itchy and red. So do not forget to moisturize the scrubbed areas. Use a branded skin cream, hand cream based on your skin type and do not forget to use a balm for that lip.
Using a Face-Pack
It is not advisable to use too much chemicals, keeping it natural is always advisable, however sometimes you might need to tweak in a little something for that evening party. Using a herbal or home-made face-pack can be a solution to that. A wide variety of face packs are available in the market to suit the respective skin types and needs, however using a neem or fruit based face-pack is the easiest choice, since you can hardly go wrong with it.
Burn it out
Last but not the least, sweat it out. It is mandatory to follow a light exercise routine. This is applicable not only for your skin but for the rest of your organs. Exercise releases hormones which makes you keep fit, but more than that it releases the excessive oils from your skin and gives that first love look.
With a wide variety of skin care products available in the market, following a regular regime is not that hard a job, however it’s always best to use natural and home-made products. For a working woman this might not be the best of option, but definitely the easiest and most hassle-free.
