I picked this up from USA & has been using since a month (call it my laziness or busy schedule to review it earlier!). Now when its finally launched in India, let’s have a look on how it flared on my super dry skin…
It comes in a greyish squeezable tube packaging with a tiny nozzle to dispense out product. Available in three shades Light Medium, Medium & Dark, I got medium for myself (NC42 with strong yellow tones). This is supposed to hydrate, smoothen & blur the flaws to give it a natural easy wear impeccable look to the skin with an added SPF protection. I agree with some of the stuff here, it has got a rich creamy texture which adds good amount of hydration to the skin with a nice dewey finish. I can even wear it on my bare skin without any help of a moisturizer infact! But I would still suggest going for a light weight moisturiser underneath it for dry skin as the formula tends to sheer down a bit on being blended out.It sinks into the skin instantly without any issues or leaving any whitish cast. Oily skin might want to set up with a powder.
The coverage is sheer to medium giving enough breathing space to skin but does good to hide any minor flaws creating a smooth even toned finish pushing those mild glitches in the background. The formula smells like an SPF lotion which I am not much fond of. In a nutshell I find this as a tinted moisturiser for dry skin version where it is loaded with hydration dose but again half way down losses its credential as so called BB cream. The coverage is pretty average to cover up with really problematic skin & then it wears off within 5-5.5 hours of wear from my skin. I could find no tint on my skin when I checked after 6 hours of wear! which is quite disappointing. The SPF 30 is an added advantage ofcourse & it does photographs well being a member of photoready family despite of the SPF content, so a huge thumbs up for that.
- Simple generic packaging.
- Rich creamy moisturizing texture.
- Blends easily & sinks into skin instantly.
- Gives sheer to medium coverage.
- Provides a flawless & impeccable look to skin blurring out the minor imperfections.
- Perfect for everyday wear.
- Shades selection will suit most of Indian skintones.
- Added advantage of SPF30.
- Photographs well.
- Does not provide enough coverage for high problematic skin. No foundation coverage for sure.
- Wears off fast needing few retouches.
A huge shout out for dry skinned females! Go get it girls… it hydrates giving a breathable coverage with easy blendability & photographs well even with SPF protection. Unless you have really problematic skin needing good heavier coverage I would highly recommend this provided you are ready for few retouchups.
