|All-day true color. Silky-smooth finish. Beautiful, shiny color with just one stroke. Create a multi-dimensional look with blush and highlighters to add depth and glowing radiance.|
Shiseido Luminizing Satin Face Color comes in a sleek rectangular glossy black case with a good size mirror. While the packaging defines pure luxury, catches those finger prints & dust easily. The whole product is encased in a shiny red chrome cardboard box packaging. The blush is accompanied with a soft & fluffy applicator blush which picks up product nicely & blends effortlessly. Generally those with packaging applicator brushes don’t perform well & are scratchy but this I can say is mini version of a typical high end blush brush. Its denser, fluffier & super soft, Love it!
They have a fabulous soft & silky texture with an understated luminous finish. These face colors reminds me of NARS blushes with a very functional formula followed by superb pigmentation & wear power. Though these are very soft, there’s no kicking up of any loose powder around while loading the product on brush. You just need a slight gentle touch of blush to get enough color on cheeks which wears easily for 8+ hours on my dry skin. They blend effortlessly with slight strokes of brush giving a nice luminous satiny finish which is quite subdued & appears almost matte, though certainly retains that luminous touch in the finish. They are available in 8 shades but I could spot only two of them at my regular shoppers stop counter- RS302 & PK304. The shades appear matte in the case but they certainly have undetectable shimmers in them which gets transformed into a soft luminous finish post blending.
RS302 TEA ROSE is a gorgeous deep dusky rose with red undertones and some scattered shimmer (undetectable). It’s the darkest shade from the collection & is quite saturated. The red undertones don’t come out quite well on dusky/warmer/olive skintones but gets much pronounced on cooler/paler skintones. This is a shade I feel is much suited for warmer/duskier complexions giving a beautiful natural rosy flush. And because Shiseido has given it more than the required pigments, going with an easy hand is suggested. The swatches are just a single swipe of the shade on my wrist! Tea Rose weared for good 9+ hours on me before showing some fading along the edges. The shade will suite Indian skintones beautifully. If you are looking for some good daily wear blush with a hint of colour this will be a great pick. Though it carries a heavy price tag is worth every penny spent. It retails around 400-500 bucks costlier in India.
