Impassioned, like MAC describes is a striking amped up Fuchsia with subdued coral tones (which can be seen under bright sunlight). I am not much comfortable with the formula which is soft & smooth but not much hydrating for my dry lips. The texture is moderately creamy which tones down to almost as matte after few hours of wear. It needs well groomed lips or else highlights flaws & peeks into those fine lines. The shade applies smoothly without any tugs but going down the wear time my lips craves for moisture & starts to get patchy when it’s about to fade not presenting a pretty sight (in case of non-groomed lips). The pigmentation is superb blanketing pigmented of the lips completely with a single pass. Impassioned wears for good 5-6 hours on me before descending down to beautiful pink tint.
The packaging is standard MAC black bullet with vanilla scent.
- Soft & smooth texture.
- Highly pigmented.
- Long wearing.
- Not hydrating for dry lips.
- Accentuates every minor flaw of dry lips if not groomed properly.
Its full power pigmented striking fuchsia which gives complete coverage & solid wear time. The formula is not very dry lips friendly but nothing major that can’t be taken care of with well-groomed lips.
