Etude House Princess Etoinette collection feels so exquisite & royal every inch! It’s delicate, soft & oh so romantic with a charming feminine touch to it. Given a chance I would love to own the entire Etude House collections which are so very pretty! Today I have super cute brush collection to show you guys from their Princess Etoinette collection..
The Etude House Princess Etoinette Brush Collection comes as a super pretty laced pink clutch with a tie up ribbon .The brushes are gathered in small pockets inside the clutch. Looks so girly & cute! The set contains:
- Soft Touch Powder Brush, natural wool brush (15cm 5.9″)
- Last Touch Fan Brush, natural wool brush (15.5cm/6.1″)
- Lip Gradation Tip (length 13cm/5.1″)
The brushes has got lovely pink coloured handle with gold chrome ferrule which holds the bristles intact securely. Both Powder & Fan brush have got white coloured natural bristles dyed in pink at the top, looks so cute and yes fortunately they don’t bleed while washing, so the colour of bristles remains intact.
SOFT TOUCH POWDER BRUSH:
Soft Touch Powder Brush has got dense fluffy & soft bristles, not the softest though but they don’t feel scratchy on skin. The brush has got density to pack colours easily & evenly on cheeks at the same time airy enough for light finishing touch ups like highlighters & loose powders. Cut short it makes up for a good blending tool for face & cheek products with good control over the product. The brush did shed 2-3 bristles for the first few washes & after that never! I am using these since 3 months and it looks very new.
LAST TOUCH FAN BRUSH:
Last Touch Fan Brush is also quiet dense, especially for a fan brush. Again this is also quiet soft. I have two non-branded fan brushes which are way less dense than this one. This is basically meant for dusting off any extra product or for feathery light touch ups. I mostly use my fan brushes for application of richly pigmented products like blushes when I just need that slight wash without any intensity and this brush does that job perfectly. The brush blends out edges of the blush, highlighter & contour like a dream giving a flawless finish. There was considerable shedding with this brush for the first few washes which has gradually reduced to great extent but still I can spot 2-3 odd bristles shedding out during wash.
LIP GRADATION TIP:
Lip Gradation Tip brush is basically feels like a slightly pliable rubbery material with tiny perforations having a sloped surface at the top. It applies lip formulas with an even finish but the result is nothing outstanding here. The finish looked same when I use my fingers to even out the finish slightly. It doesn’t give that crisp application & finish of a lip brush though I prefer this over lip brush during travel for the ease of cleaning. Just a nice wipe with wet tissue and the brush is as good as new for use again without any left behind residues. But that doesn’t mean it should not be washed! I have never seen such brush or lip applicator with any other brand & was completely unaware of the purpose unless I read the description online. Nevertheless it’s a good handy tool for evening out the finish on lips.
I like fan brush of all the three but then shedding is an issue (not majorly though!).
For the price you get three brushes of decent quality in a clutch plus not to forget the super pretty & oh so cute girly packaging!!!! However if you are looking for solid performing makeup tools then might be slightly disappointed as these are not the softest brushes if you compare with brands like MAC or Sigma but they are not bad either. I really don’t mind keeping them as my eye candy!
Looking at functionality wise, I won’t recommend these provided I could see only powder brush to be the only tool which is of good use while the other two tools are not more often reached for. But if you love having pretty & cute stuff in your vanity, this collection is surely irresistible.
