MAC describes SEE SHEER as Grapefruit Pink but on my NC42 skintone it comes out as a beautiful semi sheer muted warm Peachy Coral! It’s a lustre finish which are sufficiently comfortable on lips but I do find myself reaching out for a lip balm after couple of hours. The texture is smooth & soft which glides smoothly on lips. Lustres are not heavily pigmented & See Sheer is no different but it does have ample pigmentation to show up well on lips giving a medium coverage. I get around 3 hours wear with the shade after it fades away with just a hint of tint left behind. It gives a subtle glistening shine & a slight juicy finish on lips without going OTT which is yet another character I love about Lustres. The shade will complement corals & warm toned blushes with ease. It comes in standard MAC black bullet packaging with brands signature vanilla fragrance and is a part of permanent collection.
I would highly recommend this if you love corals but for pigmented lips the formula won’t give a good coverage and would need to layer with some good opaque lip gloss.
