Colorbar recently launched these amazing smoky kajals which are basically multitasking- can be used as a kajal, eyeliner or eyeshadow. I picked up Just Teal to test the formula and can say these are just fabulous. I will be picking up more shades from the range though the brand is going crazy with price tags for some odd reasons!! For a whooping 650 bucks you get merely 1.2 gm which gets finished off fast.
These kajal pencils comes as dual sided color bodied sharpen able pencils. The color bodies makes the shade location super easy. They come with kajal on one end & a good quality smudger on the other side with nicely fitted caps to avoid any contamination. There are about 6 shades in the range & I love the fact that all have slight sultry quality to them without going all the way bright. Every single shade is super wearable and perfect to create a smoky base in itself. Formula wise these are just amazing with soft & super creamy texture. They can surpass the slight application pressure but can crumble easily if you just manage to loose that lightness in your hand. The pigmentation is top notch giving a true bold color pay off in a single pass. You won’t need any layering or buildup with these. The uber creamy texture makes smudging very easy here but a downside is that formula sets in quickly leaving very tiny room to work with. Once set it won’t budge or smudge (on my dry lids). I didn’t tested this for 12 hours claims but the longest I wore this for 10 hours and the shade was fresh and intact without any fading sign. Overall these are a complete winner for me. The price tag vs quantity is certainly is a huge con but I would recommend atleast a shade from the range. Also there’s lot of product wastage during sharpening but that’s the case with most of the creamy pencils.
JUST TEAL is a gorgeous sultry True Teal with silver micro-glitters. The glitters adds up for a slight subtle sheen without giving a complete matte look to the shade. If you love colored liners do check this shade out.
